COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – It’s billed as the largest one day event every year for the agricultural industry in Branch County, and it lived up to its billing Monday at the Branch Area Careers Center. The 49th annual Farmers Day saw steady traffic all day in the vendor area, as well a good participation in the 17 classes offered throughout the day.
The event, sponsored by the Branch County Agri-Business Council, Michigan State University Extension, and the Branch Area Careers Center, featured almost 60 agriculture related business vendors. Some of those vendors said it was the best traffic that had seen at the event in years.
The 50th annual Farmers Day is scheduled for next President’s Day, February 20, 2017.
