COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Prom season will be here before you know it and a high school group has been working to help students in Branch County needing a dress for the dance with their “Gowns for Gals“ event. The effort wraps up tomorrow. It’s a project for the ASTRA Club at Coldwater High School. They’re asking that previously worn dresses that are no longer needed that another student can use for the upcoming prom season be dropped off tomorrow afternoon from 1:30 until 3:00 at Hauska Home and Farm in downtown Coldwater on West Chicago Street. Students will be there to take them from your vehicle. The gowns will be available for students to choose from in March. ASTRA is a student service organization support by Altrusa of Branch County.
