COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – In Branch County high school sports, there was no need for snow related cancellations yesterday because there were no activities scheduled for Wednesday. However, for tonight, there are games to be played but they’re subject to the changing weather and road conditions as well as school policies with no classes today so the status of those events is pending.
The Coldwater middle school girls basketball games with Jackson Northwest Wednesday were cancelled and will not be rescheduled.
The original lineup for tonight in varsity high school sports included Big Eight Conference Girls basketball with Quincy at home against Concord and Union City at Homer. Coldwater’s final home meet of the regular season against St Johns has been cancelled and will not be rescheduled. Also cancelled Thursday are the Coldwater boys freshman and JV basketball games against Charlotte and the Legg Middle School wrestling meet.
