COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Sixteen area AmeriGas Propane locations are teaming up provide more bottled water to the residents of Flint, Michigan. Water may be dropped off at AmeriGas locations, including the location on U.S. 12 just east of Coldwater, Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. A special “Bottled Water Drive” will also be held Saturday, March 19 from 8:00 a.m. to 12 noon.
According to Mike George, area director for AmeriGas, “We service the Flint area, and we see them struggling. These folks are our customers and our friends. We felt a responsibility to do whatever we could to help them with their situation.”
Anyone who makes a minimum donation of either one case (24-32 bottles) of bottled water or 5 one gallon jugs of water will receive one coupon to have their 20 pound cyclinder filled for free at one of the AmeriGas participating locations.
