COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – A Battle Creek man with a criminal history was being held Wednesday on a $1 million bond in the Branch County Jail after he was arrested during a Coldwater Police Department undercover drug investigation.
24-year-old Kasheen Kellis was arraigned on Tuesday in Branch County District Court on charges of dealing or manufacturing less than 50 grams of heroin and cocaine.
The Branch County Prosecutors Office also filed an habitual offender sentencing enhancement in the case.
Police say an alleged transaction during the investigation involved less than two grams of drugs.
A probable cause hearing has been scheduled for May 3 while a preliminary exam is set for May 10, 2016.
