BRONSON, MI (WTVB) – Bronson Schools Superintendent Teresa Belote has been determined to be highly effective in her job. The results of the superintendent’s evaluation were presented to the Bronson Board of Education on Monday night. Belote has been the district’s Superintendent of Schools since July 2014.
The board also approved the districts 2016-2017 calendar on Monday night. Classes will start on September 6th. Belote says the calendar will have 180 days of instruction as required by the State of Michigan.
Also under a state requirement, breakfast and lunch prices will increase for the 2016-2017 school year to $2.20 for the elementary school and $2.40 for the secondary schools. The state says prices have to go up to assure paid lunch equity.
