MARSHALL, MI (WTVB) – A driver is dead after a tractor trailer rear-ended a car stalled on eastbound Interstate 94 near the Interstate 69 interchange. It happened before 3 a.m. Friday, prompting a shutdown of the freeway.
Investigators say the vehicle was stopped in the right lane when it was rear-ended and pushed through the cable guardrails. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
The victim has yet to be identified. It’s not known if the tractor trailer driver suffered any injuries.
