FREMONT, IN (WTVB) – A Reading man was killed late Friday night when his motorcycle crashed into a tree. The Steuben County Sheriff’s Department identified the victim as 54-year-old Archie Taylor.
They say the accident happened just after 11:00 p.m. Friday night on Fremont Road north of 700 North.
Investigators think Taylor was traveling south when he failed to negotiate a curve and crashed into the tree head on. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Sheriff’s Department says Taylor was not wearing a helmet.
