COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The search for a new Branch District Library Director has been narrowed from 21 candidates down to at least two finalists.
The finalists will be interviewed during a board meeting at 9:00 a.m. on May 13 at the Coldwater Township Hall on Sprague Road. The final interviews will be open to the public.
One of the three original finalists, Tim Gleisner from the Grand Rapids Public Library, has decided to withdraw his name from consideration.
That leaves Linda Lyshol, who is the director of the Ketchikan, Arkansas Public Library and Thomas Vose, who is the director of the Palmdale City Library in Palmdale, California.
A third finalist may still be chosen by a search committee
The public will have a chance to meet the finalists during a public forum on May 12 at 5:30 p.m. which will also be held at the Coldwater Township Hall.
Each candidate will give a 12 minute presentation on a topic selected by the board. There will also be a question and answer session along with a short meet and greet after the presentations.
