COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Organizers for the annual Altrusa Golf Scramble say there are just a few team openings left for their 18th annual event which will be held on Friday, May 27, 2016 at the Coldwater Golf Course on Narrows Road.
The scramble begins at 9:00 a.m with a shotgun start. Registration is $380 before May 15 and $400 after May15 for four person teams. It includes green fees, golf cart and lunch.
Businesses can also get involved by sponsoring a hole or tee. They can also make prize donations.
All the money collected from the golf scramble will be used for community projects in the Branch County area.
The golf scramble is one of Altrusa’s major fund raisers to support such organizations as Altrusa Teen S.H.A.R.E., the Literacy Council, the Tibbits Opera Foundation, Shelterhouse-Branch County Coalition Against Domestic Violence, Vocational Scholarships, Branch County Food Pantries, Happy Feet and others.
