COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Three Branch County Corrections Officers were honored on Monday night for saving the life of a jail inmate last December.
Honored by the Michigan Sheriff’s Association and the Branch County Sheriff’s Office during a banquet at the Coldwater Golf Course were Sgt. Rhonda Nagle along with Deputies James Andrews and Shane Norton.
Sheriff John Pollack and Michigan Sheriff’s Association Director Terry Jungel says they saved the life of a prisoner who tried to commit suicide last December 13th.
The inmate has since recovered and is now out of jail.
