COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The City of Coldwater is still waiting for state approval for a spray park that would replace the Heritage Park swimming pool.
City Manager Jeff Budd told the Coldwater City Council on Monday night that it will likely be late summer or early fall before work can begin. He said Assistant City Manager Keith Baker got a letter from the state which said they were still in the grant process. Budd said they will move forward with the project as soon as they can.
Budd says the pool demolition work has been completed and crews were hoping to finish backfilling this week.
Meanwhile, work on rebuilding the Heritage Park tennis courts is scheduled to start next Monday with the demolition of the 40 year old courts.
