COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Students at Pansophia Academy in Coldwater will have a full day of school on Friday instead of the normal early release.
Pansophia Principal Jamie Mueller says the extended day is needed because of snow days and two hour weather delays earlier in the year.
The State of Michigan mandates that students must be in school for 1,080 hours per school year..The extra 90 minutes on Friday is needed to meet that requirement.
Students will be released on Friday at 3:00 p.m. Bus routes will follow the Monday through Thursday schedule for drop offs.
Day Care will run until 6:00 p.m. on Friday because of the extended hours.
