COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The April financial report for the Community Health Center of Branch County.was not a good one. The hospital closed April with a positive net income of over $52,000 compared with over $67,000 in the prior year.
Total patient revenue for the month was also down $1.8 million from April of 2015 and year-to-date revenue is down $3.7 million from the prior year. Inpatient revenue also continues to decline. April was down $745,000 from last April and down over $3 million so far this year.
The CHC board reviewed the financials at their May monthly meeting Tuesday.
In other business, the board approved a three year agreement with Aurora Diagnostics from the Toledo area.
They also approved a contract with Strategy Connections for assistance with strategic planning. The first formal session would be held in July with a finalized plan expected in September.
