QUINCY, MI (WTVB) – The Quincy Chamber of Commerce is hosting a ribbon cutting Friday. June 3 at 11:30 a.m. at the Swallow’s Nest Used Book Store at 6 East Chicago Street in Quincy. The ribbon cutting will be followed by a grand re-opening on Saturday.
Bill and Barb Swallow opened The Swallow’s Nest in 2000. They recently moved into what used to be a clothing store where they will have additional space.
Customers and volunteers hoped move books a couple of weeks ago during a Book Moving Party.
