COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Hundreds showed up Saturday as thousands of little yellow rubber ducks hit the water for the annual Great Hospice Duck Race in Coldwater Saturday. While final totals aren’t available yet, it’s expected the event will raise over $35,000 for hospice services offered through the Community Health Center of Branch County’s Home Health and Hospice program.
A duck purchased by Stan Carver finished first in the race, earning him $2016 cash donated by Dutcher Funeral Home & Dutcher-Kolcz Funeral Home of Bronson. Other winners included:
