COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Clemens Food Group along with Kellogg Community College and the Branch Area Careers Center will be hosting a Robotics/Mechatronics Open House at the Careers Center in Coldwater next Thursday, June 23rd.
The open house will include a ribbon cutting at 4pm followed by presentations from Clemens, KCC and the Careers Center.
Anyone interested in learning about new opportunities with Clemens Food Group or robotics and mechatronics training is encouraged to attend.
Both KCC and the Careers Center will be offering robotics and mechatronics courses starting this fall which are designed to train students on the expertise and equipment needed for them to be eligible to work at Clemens.
Clemens Food Group is building a 600,000 square foot processing facility between Jonesville and Newton Roads. The facility is expected to create more than 830 jobs and is scheduled to begin operating in late 2017.
Anyone considering taking the KCC courses is encouraged to attend one of KCC’s sign-up events planned for June 29th and July 6th.
