ANGOLA, IN (WTVB) – A rural Angola man was arrested Thursday night by the Steuben County Sheriff’s Department for allegedly not reporting required information to the Sheriff’s Office Sex Offender Registry within the lawful time period.
47-year-old Sanford D. Waltz is a registered sex offender and he was arrested without incident at home on 100 North in Pleasant Township.
Waltz was taken into custody without incident and booked into the Steuben County Jail on a Level 6 felony of Failure to Register as a Sex or Violent Offender.
Waltz posted ten percent of a $10,000 bond and was released.
