BATTLE CREEK, MI (WTVB) – LifeCare Ambulance has announced they have once again received national through the Commission on Accreditation of Ambulance Services.
According to the Commission, accreditation standards cover more than 100 aspects of ambulance operations. Standards that are reviewed range from patient care, financial management, budgeting, strategic planning and relations with outside agencies. It also includes training and performance evaluations.
LifeCare Ambulance Service serves as a 9-1-1 response provider for Branch and six other counties in south central Michigan. They responded to more than 20,000 emergency calls last year.
LifeCare has been accredited by the Commission since 1998.
