UNDATED (WTVB) – The strong storms at mid afternoon on Monday missed Branch County but they caused some problems in St. Joseph County.
The National Weather Service observers reported trees, tree limbs and power lines down in Centreville. Multiple trees were reported down along Hoffman Street in Three Rivers.
Additional trees, tree limbs and power lines were also reported down in the Three Rivers area. One inch hail was reported at Niles.
A second round of storms on Monday night dropped hail on Bronson which measured just under an inch.
Nearly 32,000 Indiana and Michigan Power customers lost their power at the height of the storms including 200 in St. Joseph County.
