COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – A Bronson man entered a guilty plea on Monday in Branch County Circuit Court to a felony charge of assault with a weapon following an alleged domestic dispute last February.
Court officials say 44-year-old Mark Jonaitis entered into a plea bargain with prosecutors that call for the dismissal of assault less than murder, assault by strangulation and domestic violence charges.
Sentencing was scheduled for August 1, 2016.
Bronson Police say the alleged incident took place in the 200 block of South Walker. Jonaitis was later arrested on Farrand Road in Sherwood Township.
