COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Branch County Commissioners approved a request from Probate Court to fill two vacancies on Tuesday afternoon.
Commissioner Jon Houtz said one vacancy was for a Deputy Juvenile Register position that became open last Friday.
The other vacancy was a Youth Specialist position for the Day Treatment Program.
In other business, Commissioners formally approved the extension of the Life Care Medical Transportation Agreement for four years through June of 2020.
The 2016 full time employee staffing plan under the Sheriff’s Department was amended after two part time corrections officers positions were removed in exchange for the addition of a full time Corrections Officer.
A Road Patrol Sergeant position will stay open. If the position is filled at the request of the Sheriff, then a Road Patrol Deputy position will be eliminated.
