MOSCOW, MI (WTVB) – Two Bronson residents were injured Saturday morning while they were riding a motorcycle in Hillsdale County.
The Hillsdale County Sheriff’s Department says the crash happened at about 9:40 a.m. on U.S. 12 at Milnes Road in Moscow Township when 59-year-old Debra Ann Bartolotta of Rockwood turned her car into the path of a motorcycle driven by 47-year-old Dennis Allen Smith of Bronson.
Smith and a passenger, 55-year-old Joyce Marie Smith, were thrown from the motorcycle. The Sheriffs Department says both of the Smiths wore helmets.
Bartolotta was issued a citation for failing to yield the right of way. Deputies were assisted on scene by the Michigan State Police, the Reading Emergency Unit and Moscow Township Fire and Rescue.
