COLDWATER, MI 9WTVB) – The Branch County Board of Commissioners Thursday heard a mostly positive 2015 audit from C.P.A. Aaron Stevens from the East Lansing firm of Abraham and Gaffney.
Stevens said the county’s revenues last year were $11.4 million which was a 4.1 percent increase from 2014. Expenditures decreased by less than one percent to $10.7 million.
He said 55 percent of the general fund revenue comes from property taxes. The commissioners are expected to accept the audit report during their meeting Tuesday, July 12, 2016.
