MOSCOW, MI (WTVB) – The identity of a pickup truck driver who died in a fiery Hillsdale County traffic accident early Monday morning has not been determined.
The Hillsdale County Sheriff’s Department says the pickup went off of East Chicago Road east of Dennings Road in Moscow Township at about 1:50 a.m.
The vehicle travelled up an embankment, struck a tree and burst into flames. The lone occupant did not make it out of the vehicle.
The unknown driver was pronounced deceased at the scene by Somerset E.M.S. personnel.
The Sheriff’s Department is still investigating the accident.
