COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – A Quincy man was acquitted of four second degree criminal sexual conduct charges late Tuesday afternoon in Branch County Circuit Court.
A court spokesperson says 28-year-old Nicholas Dangerfield was found not guilty of all the charges just after 5:00pm after the jury took less than a half hour to reach its verdicts.
Dangerfield was charged following a Quincy Police investigation into a reported incident involving a young teenage girl just over two years ago.
Court officials had blocked off three days for the trial.
