BRONSON, MI (WTVB) – Today is the most activity-filled day of the 47th Annual Bronson Polish Festival, highlighted by the parade through downtown that steps off at 1pm. Dave and Kathy Barone will serve as grand marshals for the parade, the largest in Branch County and one of the largest in the state of Michigan. They will be joined by members of the 2015 Class C state champion Bronson Viking volleyball team as honorary grand marshals.
Other events include the Polka Mass at 4:30pm at St. Mary’s Assumption Church and the Polka Dance and “Polka In Her Shoes” at 6pm at St. Mary’s Gym. There’s also a car show until 1pm in front of Bronson Strike Zone, truck pulls next to McDonald’s beginning at 6pm, and a cornhole tournament next to Matteston Street Grill & Bar.
The festival officially wraps up tomorrow with the conclusion of the men’s softball tournament.
