ANGOLA, IN (WTVB) – Repairs to the Indiana Northeastern Railroad tracks on North Wayne Street in Angola started on Monday.
The city says railroad crews will be working on the tracks for about three weeks.
This project is in conjunction with the Indiana Department of Transportation and will restrict thru traffic on North Wayne.
Local residents will use side streets but truck traffic will be re-routed onto I-69.
During the railroad project, INDOT will also be working on their re-surfacing project which will cause lane closures and possible congestion.
