COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Coldwater City Council Monday night approved a new four-year labor agreement with the city’s firefighters.
The agreement is essentially unchanged from the previous contract with the exception of a two percent wage increase for each year of the agreement; employer contributions to the defined benefit program increasing from nine percent to ten percent and a one-time $1,000 contract signing bonus.
The contract was earlier ratified by the members of IAFF Local 2555.
