COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Coldwater Board of Public Utilities Board of Directors will be asked Tuesday to approve bids totaling over $3.3 million for the first phase of improvements to the utility’s wastewater treatment plant.
The bids were received on August 4, 2016 and the final cost with contingencies came in almost $1.3 million below the original engineering estimates.
The project will be managed by Fishbeck, Thompson, Carr and Huber through a construction management contract.
The first phase of the two phase project will include upgrades and new media for the three existing tricking filters.
