ANGOLA, IN (WTVB) – Trine University officials are expecting a fourth straight year of record enrollment when classes start next Monday.
Graduate, international and business students are expected to fuel a rise in fall enrollment.
Trine is expecting 834 international students this fall, more than double last year’s total. The university’s graduate school enrollment has nearly doubled as well from last year.
Trine’s Ketner School of Business will welcome 105 new students which will be the largest class of new students in its history.
The total enrollment is expected to go up by about seven percent to just under 4,500 students. More than three-quarters of Trine students, about 3,650, will be enrolled at the main campus.
Work on a 26,000-square-foot addition to Best Hall of Science continues. Prep work has also begun for the new Thunder Ice Arena on the main campus in Angola.
