COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The days of summer vacation have dwindled down to a precious few.
Students in the Coldwater Community School District go back to class September 6. Superintendent Terry Boguth told the Coldwater Board of Education this week she is optimistic the district’s enrollment will be higher this year.
Although she hates to give out numbers this early, Boguth says it’s possible enrollment could go up by over 100 students.
She added the Central Office staff has been busy enrolling students every day and that sometimes three or four families have had to wait in the lobby before they could enroll their children.
Coldwater Community Schools had 2,701 students in 2015-2016.
