CENTREVILLE, MI (WTVB) – A St. Joseph County man has won $100,000 playing the Michigan Lottery’s Bonus Ball Bingo instant game.
The lucky player chose to remain anonymous.He bought his winning ticket at the Centreville Shell gas station on East Main Street.
Michigan Lottery officials say at first the man thought he had only won $20, but after checking the ticket a few days later, he discovered he had an “X” and realized he had actually won $100,000.
The man and his wife claimed their prize on Monday at State Lottery headquarters in Lansing.
He plans to pay bills and take a trip to the western United States with his winnings.
