COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) -The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) sponsors National Preparedness Month every September to enourage home and business owners to review and update their emergency preparedness plans.
Aaron Popp, who is the owner of SERVPRO® of Branch and South Calhoun Counties, encourages Coldwater property owners to take advantage of the information available from FEMA.
Popp says many property owners need a comprehensive emergency plan that provides first responders with the information they need to deal with an emergency quickly and effectively, like the location of shut-off valves, fire suppression system controls, and emergency contact numbers.
