COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Branch County Administrator Bud Norman told the Branch County Board of Commissioners at their work session Thursday that discussions will be held next week to deal with infrastructure issues at the Branch County Jail and how a timeline can be developed.
Sheriff John Pollack said a big problem has been water backups caused by an underground internet cable. Pollack added a cavity has developed under the mess hall which has caused the floor to drop a little.
Norman said after top priority issues about jail infrastructure are determined, they will be placed into the proposed 2017 budget.
