COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – This is no surprise if you have been by Cardinal Field in recent days, but the new press box is not ready and will not be used for the Coldwater High School home varsity football opener against Marshall Thursday night.
Coldwater Athletic Director Diane Vandenhout says fans will not be allowed any access behind the press box as no one will be allowed in this area.
There will be platforms for the coaches and videographers for both schools, WTVB, an announcer, two scoreboard operators and a spotter.
The concession stand and restrooms at the south end of the stadium will be functional except for the restrooms located at the press box. There will be four ticket area entrances.
Vandenhout says the school district appreciates everyone’s patience, understanding and ability to work together to keep everyone safe as well as have a great night of football.
