COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – A Coldwater man has been charged following an investigation by Coldwater Police into what was described in court documents as a “drug house”.
28-year-old Donta Antonio Scott was arraigned Wednesday in Branch County District Court on a charge of Delivery and Manufacturing Marijuana as well as two counts of being in possession of less than 25 grams of cocaine.
A warrant for his arrest was issued July 11th.
Bond has been set at $100,000. A probable cause hearing will be held next Thursday with a preliminary exam on September 22nd.
Scott has demanded a speedy trial.
According to court documents, police went to a home on Taylor Street earlier this year on a report of a breaking and entering in progress.
After getting a search warrant for the house, police say they found heroin, cocaine and marijuana in the home.
Scott was one of four persons in the house at the time of the discovery by police.
