ANGOLA, IN (WTVB) – An Angola man was injured early Sunday morning in a Steuben County motorcycle accident.
The Steuben County Sheriff’s Department says 51-year-old Gary Baker was traveling on Landis Road at about 12:35am when he apparently failed to negotiate a curve and went off the road.
Baker was ejected from the motorcycle and was found in a ditch by rescue crews.
He was taken to Parkview Regional Medical Center for what appeared to be non-life threatening injuries to his head and legs.
Deputies say Baker was not wearing a helmet and alcohol is believed to be a factor in the accident which is still under investigation.
