NORTH ADAMS, MI (WTVB) – Two men were arrested and a third was flown to University of Michigan Health in Ann Arbor following a fight early Sunday morning in North Adams.
The Hillsdale County Sheriff’s Department say a 23-year-old was found unconscious with severe injuries when deputies arrived at a home in the 100 block of Main Street just after 2:00am.
After speaking with numerous witnesses on scene, deputies arrested 21-year-old Justin Michael Whitcomb and 19-year-old Chad Alan Stump.
The two North Adams residents are being held without bond on felony charges of assault with intent to do great bodily harm less than murder.
The Sheriff’s Department says the status of the victim, whose name was not released, is unknown and their investigation is continuing.
Deputies were assisted by the North Adams Fire Department and the Reading Emergency Unit.
