COLDWAER, MI (WTVB) – The Coldwater Board of Education selected Jeffrey Holbrook to fill out a vacancy on the board during a special meeting Monday evening.
Holbrook was chosen after the board spent a couple of hours interviewing five candidates who had expressed an interest in serving out the balance of Lance Houck’s term which expires at the end of 2018.
Holbrook is a commercial loan officer for Century Bank and Trust and was the first candidate to be interviewed. He says he wants to give back to the district after having a child go through the school system.
Holbrook added he was considering running for the school board in the past. He has been living in Coldwater since 1993.
