COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Plans for the 37th annual Tibbits Auction have been announced. The theme for the auction November 5, 2016 is “On the High Seas”.
The Tibbits Auction has become a popular event with unique themes over the years. Those who attend are encouraged to dress for the theme. As always, the auction will be held at the Tibbits Opera House in Coldwater.
The silent auction that evening will start at 6:00 p.m. in the lower level art gallery. The live auction on stage begins at 8:00 p.m.
This year’s event also features a $1,000 cash raffle. Guests will have their chance at 50/50 tickets, engraved souvenir wine glasses, a wine and rum pull and a photo booth.
Auction volunteers are already gathering donation of items, services or cash.Items for the auction can be dropped off at the Tibbits administrative office at 93 West Chicago in Coldwater. You can also call Tibbits Special Events Coordinator Amy Crabtree at 278-6029 to arrange for a volunteer to pick up your donation. All donations are needed by October 21.
