BURR OAK TOWNSHIP, MI (WTVB) – The St. Joseph County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a stabbing which took place early Monday morning in the 29000 block of Kelly Road. That’s in additon to a stabbing death that happened in the city of Sturgis Sunday morning.
Deputies say the stabbing victim was a 25-year-old man from Mendon who had gotten a ride from the unknown suspect. He suffered serious but non-life threatening injuries.
The suspect vehicle is described as a 2-door, red Pontiac Grand Prix with a missing passenger side mirror.
Police are looking for a man who is around 40 years old who has a beard.
