HILLSDALE, MI (WTVB) – A Jonesville woman has been charged in connection with the July death of a man.
The Hillsdale County Sheriff’s Department says 50-year-old Jodie Lyn Mansell was arrested Monday on a felony warrant for Delivery of a Controlled Substance Causing Death.
She was taken into custody at the Hillsdale County Courthouse where she was sentenced in a separate heroin case.
Monday’s arrest came after a three month investigation into the death of Robert Recob. He was taken to the Hillsdale Hospital by Reading Emergency Unit July 4, 2016 for reactions caused by an unknown drug. Recob died at the hospital later that morning.
Bond for Mansell has been set at $250,000.
