UNDATED (WTVB) – The National Weather Service has issued a Flood Watch through this evening for portions of South Central and Southwest Michigan. The watch includes Calhoun, Kalamazoo, Barry, Clinton, Eaton, Ingham and Jackson Counties.
Forecasters say some areas have gotten over two inches of rain from Wednesday night into Thursday morning.
Additional rainfall through Friday should be under an inch but some locally heavier rain could create some potential flooding.
A Flood Watch means there is a potential for flooding based on current forecasts. Those living in flood prone areas should be prepared to take action should flooding develop.
