COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The recent Smith Memorial Benefit concert at the Tibbits Opera House has led to a $4,000 gift to the Branch United Youth Choir.
A local charity is chosen every year to receive funds from the concert.
With the money, the choir plans to buy a digital piano and music. The funds will also be used to fund a concert tour to Mackinaw Island next summer.
The choir meets at the main branch of the Branch District Library everyTuesday. Membership is free to all Branch County children in grades 2 through 8.
