COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – City Manager Jeff Budd says the final pipe has been installed on Marshall Street for the sanitary force main as part of the infrastructure project for the new Clemens Processing facility. Starting Monday, Marshall Street will be closed to thru traffic where six manholes need to be replaced in the northbound lanes.
The work will take about a week. Marshall is tentatively scheduled to be milled on Monday, October 17 in preparation for the first asphalt course.
Budd says in his report to the City Council for their meeting on Monday that work will continue on concrete installation of curb, gutter, sidewalks and drive approaches on Pierce as well as Marshall Street.
In addition, Budd says the Tibbits parking lot is substantially completed. It will be open to the public once it’s been striped.
Work continues in the Milnes parking lot. Budd says the parking lot will be seal coated once all the asphalt has been laid. The repairs are being funded by the Downtown Development Authority.
