STURGIS, MI (WTVB) – Michigan State Police said late Sunday night that a teenage girl from Sturgis was safe and had contacted her parents.
They issued a statement earlier in the day that requesting information on 17-year-old Tamara Lawrence who had left her home to go for a walk late Thursday and did not return. There were concerns because the State Police believed she left the area to meet with an unknown person.
Lawrence did not had any form of contact with her family until Sunday night, which according to the family was unlike her.
