COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – City Manager Jeff Budd says a tentative agreement has been reached with Coldwater Township that will bring the prison property back into the City.
Budd told the Coldwater City Council on Monday night that this will allow the City and Township to both receive additional funds under a 1977 state law which is the State’s fire reimbursement for State-owned property.
Budd says the funds will be earmarked for future fire truck purchases.
