COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – A suspect in last November’s armed robbery of a Butler Township store was arraigned Thursday in Branch County District Court.
22-year-old Caleb Huff of Hillsdale was charged following an investigation by the Michigan State Police. He was booked at the Branch County Jail Tuesday, where he being held on a $250,000 bond.
Huff is charged in connection with the robbery of A.J.’s General Store on Clarendon Road.
Troopers said the suspect held a knife during the heist and left the area driving an unknown vehicle with a loud exhaust.
Huff is scheduled to appear for a probable cause hearing in District Court next Thursday. His preliminary exam is scheduled for October 26, 2016.
