COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – In high school football, two Branch County teams can punch their tickets for the post season with victories tonight.
COLDWATER (5-2, 4-2) at Hastings (3-3, 3-4)
The Coldwater Cardinals can assure themselves of their fourth straight post season appearance if they win at Hastings this evening. The Cardinals are coming off an upset of the state ranked Harper Creek Beavers in Coldwater’s Homecoming game last Friday.

Springport (6-1, 5-1) at QUINCY (5-2, 4-2)
The Quincy Orioles have another chance during their Homecoming game tonight to secure a spot in the post-season. The Orioles have lost two straight after winning their first five games. Springport is in a three way tie with Concord and Homer for first place in the Big 8. We’ll have update reports on the Quincy game during our coverage of the Coldwater-Hastings contest.
UNION CITY (2-5, 1-5) at Concord (6-1, 5-1)
The Chargers end the Big 8 portion of their schedule against one of the teams tied for first in the conference.
Cassopolis (6-1, 3-0) at Bronson (1-6, 1-2)
The Vikings play their final home game of the season. Cassopolis can win the BCS Red Division title outright with a win.)
